When a production needs something real.
Under the brand Lunar Lupus Filmwolves we place trained wolfdogs for film, television, photo shoots, galas and events. Our animals are used to travel, crowds, lighting and the rhythm of a shooting day — and they are handled by us alone. Booking goes through lunarlupus.com.
In addition there are dog photography workshops with our dogs and a photographer, information evenings for anyone interested, and an open invitation to the press. Our work has been seen in the context of National Geographic, ARTE and ORF (Universum), among others.
A wolfdog is not a prop. What looks calm on screen is the result of years of training — and of the willingness to cancel a shot when it is not reasonable for the animal.

Behind the scenes
What counts on set.
A shooting day is loud, long and unpredictable. So what counts is not the trick but the foundation: training to recognised standards, habituation to equipment and crowds, and a handler who knows the animal.
We come with our own transport, our own quiet space for the dogs, and a clear agreement about what is possible and what is not. We make that agreement before the shoot, not during it.
