Why we breed, how we breed.
The „vom alten Wolfsblut“ kennel was founded to breed Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs from our own lines, with suitable genetics and working drive, officially and to the highest FCI and ÖKV standards. Internationally we appear as from wolfblood.
Breeding is responsibility, not quantity. We choose pairings with health, temperament and suitability in mind — and support our puppies and their families far beyond handover. Our offspring hold their own ÖKV/FCI breeding approval.
Interested in a wolfdog? We advise honestly — including when the breed doesn't fit your life. A wolfdog demands time, consistency and understanding.
The Czechoslovakian Wolfdog.
Originally created by crossing the German Shepherd with the Carpathian wolf, the breed combines endurance, keen senses and independence with a close bond to its people.
Exactly this mix makes them so special — in the ring, in sport and in front of the camera. And that's exactly why serious breeding includes honest education.
